Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable products and API-based services for Amazon’s international shopping experience.
- Build mobile and web-based products serving millions of global customers.
- Solve complex software and systems problems involving localization, payments, currencies, shipping, and import duties.
- Collaborate with business partners to define international expansion strategies and develop supporting solutions.
- Contribute to reliable, robust ecosystems through design, delivery, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
