Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own acquisition tracking from campaign attribution through signups, product usage, and payments.
- Implement browser and server-side tracking, consent handling, event deduplication, monitoring, and integrations with Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, and GTM.
- Build and ship landing pages, forms, website experiments, and conversion flows using TypeScript and React.
- Use SQL and PostHog to investigate funnels and cohorts, reconcile advertising data with product and billing data, and assess acquisition economics.
- Design and evaluate experiments with defined success metrics and guardrails, then recommend whether to keep, change, or stop them.
- Build automations connecting analytics, billing, CRM, and marketing systems, including clear failure handling and inspection workflows.
- Write tests, review generated code, document decisions, monitor released systems, and collaborate with product engineers on security and architecture.
Requirements
- Production software experience across frontend, backend, and data, with proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, React, APIs, webhooks, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience implementing conversion tracking and ad-platform integrations, including tracing missing or duplicated events.
- Experience instrumenting an event-based analytics system such as PostHog and using the data to make growth or product decisions.
- Understanding of funnels, attribution, acquisition economics, metrics, statistical interpretation, and experiment guardrails.
- Active use of AI tools with responsibility for verifying, explaining, and adapting generated code and configuration.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with nontechnical teammates, and focus on customer-experience details.
- Preferred experience includes growing usage-based products, accounting for trial or inference costs, building customer-facing demand-generation tools, shipping technical SEO infrastructure, or automating growth operations.
