Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data platforms, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance technical solutions.
- Define application and data architectures integrating analytics and predictive models.
- Establish cloud, on-premises, and hybrid IT infrastructure strategies for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Embed cybersecurity principles, including IAM, data protection, network security, and secure design, across solution layers.
- Design system integrations using APIs, data pipelines, messaging, streaming, and interoperability frameworks.
- Enable data and analytics capabilities for predictive and data-driven use cases.
- Provide technical leadership across the design, build, deploy, and operate lifecycle.
- Ensure architecture governance, compliance, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on technology and solution strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in software development and solution architecture with a track record of delivering scalable technology solutions.
- Strong experience designing architectures across application, data platform, and IT infrastructure layers.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of programming, containerization, orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices-based architecture.
- Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, APIs, messaging, and streaming.
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, real-time processing, stream processing, analytics ecosystems, and predictive use cases.
- Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployments.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, IAM, network security and segmentation, data encryption, and data protection.
- Understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and edge environments.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems, with knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to asset management, operational systems, or data-driven solutions is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Italian is advantageous for communication with Italian-speaking stakeholders.
