Responsibilities
- Conduct customer use-case discovery and requirements workshops.
- Create and deliver customer-centric solution designs and demonstrations.
- Present product roadmaps, vision, architectures, and business outcomes to technical audiences.
- Define technical selling approaches and support account penetration and success planning with sales counterparts.
- Explain competitive differentiators and the broader technology ecosystem.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product roadmap items.
- Participate in evangelism through blogs, meetups, and industry events.
- Mentor associates and contribute to team enablement materials and internal and external knowledge repositories.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Enterprise software and big data experience.
- Understanding of enterprise operations, security, and data governance challenges.
- Solution architecture or engineering experience, including requirements gathering, whiteboarding, architecture design, hands-on implementation, and demonstrations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure, Java or .NET, and SQL, plus an understanding of data engineering and applied science.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, and client-management skills.
- Preferred experience with big data ecosystems, streaming, NoSQL, enterprise data warehouses, data science and machine learning, and integration or analytics products.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
