Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software infrastructure.
  • Develop sophisticated, stateful web applications and integrate React-based frontends with modular backend services.
  • Provide technical leadership in distributed systems, data technologies, and software engineering.
  • Research and drive technical innovation in emerging data technologies and engineering practices.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural workshops, and other technical development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Adapt to the evolving JavaScript ecosystem to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, including at least 1 year leading projects.
  • Experience building full-stack web applications with modern programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
  • Experience architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale, with an understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with experience designing and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical decisions and drive alignment across teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under tight timelines.
