Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend applications with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Design, implement, and integrate interfaces for application communication.
Implement complex business requirements in the German statutory health-insurance domain.
Develop performant, maintainable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
Use SQL and DB2 to process and manage business data.
Analyze, optimize, and further develop existing applications and components.
Create automated tests and ensure software quality.
Coordinate technically with business departments, development teams, and other project stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

Several years of experience in Java backend development and very strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
Practical project experience with BITMARCK 21c ng.
Experience in the German statutory health-insurance environment, ideally with LRB, ELW, or EEL.
Strong knowledge of SQL and DB2.
Practical experience developing secure and reliable software solutions and handling sensitive patient data.
Very good spoken and written German at C2 level.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is a plus.
Knowledge of Kafka, Liquibase, modern testing frameworks, FHIR, or other healthcare standards is a plus.
Experience with Scrum or Kanban is a plus.
