Responsibilities

  • Implement, optimize, and maintain reliable and scalable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, maintenance, and operational processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the resilience, reliability, and observability of the CI/CD platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform and pipeline issues in distributed environments.
  • Create post-mortem documentation and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in code and Pull Request reviews focused on CI/CD, automation, reliability, and code quality.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and serve as a technical reference within the squad.
  • Conduct proofs of concept and evaluate emerging CI/CD and automation technologies.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brazil.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • At least five years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or at least two years with an advanced degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD.
  • Production experience implementing, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation practices.
  • Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical area.
  • Understanding of SRE principles, reliability, availability, resilience, monitoring, observability, and incident management.
  • Experience supporting scalable platforms, troubleshooting complex issues, and automating manual operational processes.
  • Knowledge of software engineering standards, coding practices, version control, Pull Request reviews, monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting, and observability.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with internal developer platforms, critical production systems, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, GitOps, proofs of concept, incident response, mentoring, distributed teams, and relevant cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code certifications.
