Responsibilities

Own the integration architecture and strategy for assigned domains.
Design and lead implementation of integrations between SaaS and on-prem applications.
Create data integration strategies for high volumes of data.
Define and enforce API governance, including design guidelines and documentation standards.
Provide technical leadership to integration engineers through mentoring and code reviews.
Implement and manage REST/SOAP APIs and webhooks.
Architect robust data integrations for real-time and scheduled workloads.
Define non-functional requirements and ensure designs meet them.
Drive observability and reliability for integrations.
Partner with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.
Lead technical discovery and solution design for new integration initiatives.
Own vendor and platform technical relationships for integration technologies.
Oversee CI/CD practices for integrations.
Champion reuse and standardization by building shared assets.
Participate in KTLO/on-call rotations for critical integrations.
Evaluate new technologies and patterns for integration.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
9+ years of overall software/integration engineering experience.
7+ years focused on API and enterprise integrations.
3+ years in a senior/lead/architect capacity.
Deep expertise in RESTful API design and implementation.
Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or equivalent iPaaS.
Solid understanding of SOAP services, webhooks, and messaging patterns.
Proficiency with integration data formats and transformation.
Strong database and data modeling skills.
Experience designing secure integrations.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Demonstrated experience integrating with various SaaS platforms.
