Responsibilities
- Develop features using modern Android frameworks, libraries, and in-house components within a shared codebase.
- Deliver polished, intuitive, performant, accessible, and privacy-conscious mobile user experiences.
- Maintain and improve continuous delivery pipelines for fast, reliable, and safe production releases.
- Contribute across the full mobile product lifecycle, from feature ideation through release and iteration.
- Work with cross-functional teams and take ownership of product value delivery end to end.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Android development experience shipping and maintaining production applications at scale.
- Experience building large, complex mobile applications with polished, performant UIs, ideally for global consumer audiences.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles, with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
- Deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including platform fragmentation, UI design patterns, screen sizes, and device variation.
- Familiarity with Google technologies, Google Play Store submission processes, and Google development guidelines.
- Understanding of the full mobile product lifecycle and experience working in Agile teams.
- Preferred experience with Kotlin, Clean Architecture, reactive programming, mobile CI/CD, analytics and BI systems, A/B testing, alternative Android markets, mobile data optimization, and offline-first applications.
- An eye for UX and interaction design and concern for how products feel as well as function.
