Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI tools and automations for image processing, feed optimization, content generation, reporting, document processing, and workflow streamlining.
- Replace repetitive business processes with reliable, low-maintenance automation pipelines.
- Build MCP servers, Claude Desktop extensions, AI-agent architectures, reusable connectors, and integration tooling.
- Connect software systems, APIs, marketing platforms, content systems, image libraries, and internal data sources into reusable workflows.
- Work with business teams to map manual processes and deliver AI-powered solutions that improve them.
- Write Python and JavaScript/TypeScript scripts and design workflows using AI and workflow automation platforms.
- Evaluate AI vendors, run pilots, assess ROI and feasibility, and make build-versus-buy recommendations.
- Define automation and integration standards, prioritize the automation roadmap by ROI, and drive AI adoption through training, enablement sessions, office hours, documentation, and knowledge bases.
- Own production reliability through monitoring, error alerting, root-cause analysis, and data-integrity fixes.
- Assess AI-tool security and data-governance risks involving credentials, personally identifiable information, data handling, and retention.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience building automations, integrations, or AI-powered tools in marketing, e-commerce, or operations, including production deployments.
- Strong working knowledge of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools and the ability to design reliable production-grade AI workflows, prompts, and agents.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms, preferably n8n, or Zapier, Make, or similar tools.
- Working ability to write Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for API integrations, data processing, lightweight applications, and automation.
- Familiarity with MCP servers, AI-agent architectures, or comparable connector and tooling development.
- Sound judgment regarding AI-tool security, data privacy, and risks associated with sensitive data.
- Ability to evaluate technology options and make recommendations that influence organization-wide tooling decisions.
- Preferred: experience operating production AI or automation systems with monitoring and alerting.
- Preferred: retail, direct-to-consumer, or multi-brand e-commerce experience.
- Preferred: experience training or onboarding non-technical users.
- Preferred: familiarity with SharePoint, Excel, SQL, dashboards, and data products.
- Preferred: specific experience with n8n.
