Responsibilities
- Design, build, deliver, support, and enhance applications powering the customer platform.
- Build RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and optimize systems for scalability and performance, including multi-threaded, concurrent, asynchronous, and distributed environments.
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA colleagues in the delivery of new functionality.
- Lead the delivery of technical projects.
- Use software development, testing, build, and delivery tools to implement and maintain applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, SQL, and software scalability and performance.
- Experience building RESTful services with Spring Boot.
- Exposure to Hibernate, JPA, Spring JDBC, and standard development tools including IntelliJ, JUnit, JMeter, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
- Understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, network protocols, and Unix user-level operation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
- English proficiency of at least B2 and mandatory Polish language proficiency.
- Ability to lead technical project delivery and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with MongoDB, Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, asynchronous or distributed multi-tier architectures, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Java or cloud certifications are a plus.
