Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features in Restream web services.
- Design and implement backend APIs and business logic for new and existing features.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to teammates.
- Monitor emerging technologies and identify opportunities in the environment.
- Ensure redundancy and resilience of Restream’s production infrastructure.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least one general-purpose programming language.
- Strong database-design proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including Scylla and Redis.
- Experience creating, testing, consuming, and supporting APIs for web services.
- Comfort working with AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, continuous-deployment workflows, and multiple programming languages.
- Basic frontend skills; experience with modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus a self-directed, analytical, and collaborative working style.
- Node.js with TypeScript or Rust experience is a plus but not required.
