Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions spanning GenAI, classical ML, computer vision, and agentic systems.
- Translate customer problems into technical architectures and collaborate directly with clients to define requirements and objectives.
- Develop and deploy production-ready AI backends using Python, FastAPI, Docker, and cloud services.
- Build evaluation pipelines, including LLM-as-a-Judge agents, to monitor quality from development through production.
- Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines covering data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and monitoring.
- Research developments in generative AI, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning and identify customer applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with business and customer goals.
- Create technical specifications, presentations, and other documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a strong plus.
- Solid hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems in GenAI, classical ML, computer vision, or related areas.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, LangChain, or LangFuse.
- Experience across the AI stack, including prompt engineering, RAG architecture, model training, evaluation pipelines, and cloud deployment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as Azure, containerisation with Docker, and API development with FastAPI.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Native Dutch and English communication skills; French is a plus.
- Experience with GitHub projects, open-source contributions, or Kaggle competitions is a plus.
- Experience with synthetic data generation, object detection, image segmentation, MLOps tooling, agentic frameworks, multi-agent systems, relevant publications, or focus domains such as Data Quality, Retail, Manufacturing, or Finance is a plus.
