Base Salary

$148k - $246k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support FX trading venues and related complex applications.
Build and operate large-scale, low-latency trading platforms using Java.
Develop and support cloud services and collaborate with product development teams on cloud-aware applications.
Create automated processes to prevent, identify, and resolve issues affecting service availability.
Deliver improvements involving cost savings, security, ease of use, and reliability.
Investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive them through completion.
Collaborate with architects and distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.

Strong Java programming skills and experience writing clean code.
Expertise in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Deep understanding of system architecture and memory management.
Proficiency with profiling tools and specialized low-latency application libraries and frameworks.
Knowledge of TCP, UDP, and HTTP network protocols, network performance, and network-communication optimization.
Experience with software testing, delivery, and infrastructure-change automation and exposure to DevOps practices.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and communicate well.
Experience with cloud technologies and SQL or NoSQL is desired.
