Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation scripts and frameworks under senior guidance.
- Contribute to automated test planning and execution and grow toward independent planning responsibilities.
- Apply analytical and technical skills to prevent defects and detect them early.
- Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches such as intelligent test generation.
- Create test suites and traceability matrices and support test walkthroughs with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and optimize automation scripts for Core Banking and Specialized applications.
- Collaborate with IT, business, and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript and a solid understanding of software development principles are required.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Cucumber, RestAssured, Robot Framework, TestNG, and Git is required or expected.
- Knowledge of test case design, API and microservices testing, and non-functional testing such as performance and security testing is required.
- An analytical mindset focused on optimizing testing processes through automation is required.
- Hands-on Quality Engineer or SDET experience, Agile/Scrum experience, and coursework or projects involving AI-driven testing, BDD, or microservices architectures are preferred.
