2027 Winter Student Opportunities Technology & Operations - Quality Engineering & Automation, 4-8 Months
RBCResponsibilities
- Assist with developing automated test plans and solutions for process controls, governance, and client automation needs.
- Create, update, and execute QA testing plans.
- Support programming testing tools for internal use and upgrades to the testing environment.
- Maintain accurate testing status reports and documentation of test results.
- Automate reporting processes using Blue Prism, VBA, and SQL.
- Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to projects.
- Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, technology, or engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership acumen, communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Experience with SQL and/or VBA.
- Knowledge of analytics technologies, architecture, and data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include Blue Prism or other automation expertise, BI tools such as Tableau and Elastic, data integration experience, and relational database design knowledge.
