Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, procurement teams, and other client stakeholders to understand objectives and strengthen customer relationships.
- Provide technical presales consulting and support the sales process for cybersecurity and data protection solutions.
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through individual, team, and company training.
- Develop and deliver security services offerings, sales collateral, customer use cases, presentations, and lab demonstrations.
- Maintain knowledge of security technologies, industry trends, market behavior, and SHI’s solution offerings.
- Travel to client, partner, conference, and SHI office locations as needed, up to 20%.
- Complete special projects that may require extended hours.
Requirements
- Intermediate experience and understanding of security frameworks including NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
- Intermediate technical identity governance and security knowledge, including DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, USB control, file encryption, and ransomware recovery solutions.
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and providing technical expertise.
- Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
- At least 3 years of experience in security presales consulting.
- Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies is preferred, including CISSP, relevant GIAC certification, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant cybersecurity OEM certifications.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, organization, problem-solving, relationship-building, documentation, follow-up, and results-orientation skills.
