Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for complex production issues and investigate anomalies through root-cause analysis.
- Develop and deploy fixes for production bugs and implement system enhancements.
- Maintain understanding of system architecture and upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Support and troubleshoot REST API, microservices, and third-party SaaS integrations.
- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with team standards.
- Monitor platform performance and scalability and contribute to reliable deployments.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and QA teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Perform additional technical tasks that support business objectives and the long-term health of the applications ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, and S3.
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python with Django or FastAPI, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, database management, and server-side architecture.
- Ability to analyze and implement bug fixes for reported incidents.
- Understanding of application development lifecycle practices including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, React or Angular, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI tools.
- Media management or digital media distribution experience is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and ability to learn new technologies are preferred.
