Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, configure, and customize the backend Shopify B2B Commerce platform, including Shopify Apps, Functions, Extensions, and APIs.
- Design complex B2B capabilities that extend beyond Shopify B2B’s standard features and support related integrations.
- Provide backend expertise, data, and API endpoints for headless front-end teams.
- Architect and develop Salesforce integrations, features, and functions supporting assisted and self-service sales and service capabilities.
- Drive integrations among Shopify, Salesforce, ERP, data warehouse, and internal or external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Contribute to marketing automation, AI-driven sales and service tools, vendor solutions, and other digital roadmap initiatives.
- Use version control, quality assurance practices, CI/CD, deployment keys, and other modern software development practices.
- Translate stakeholder and partner requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to the strategic direction of the digital landscape.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer building B2B eCommerce or digital platforms.
- Proficiency with Shopify B2B, Shopify Apps, Shopify Functions and Extensions, and Shopify APIs from a backend perspective in a headless context.
- Experience integrating Shopify, Salesforce, ERP, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
- Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem, including Apex, Lightning, Flow, validation rules, automations, and APIs.
- Ability to write SQL queries from scratch and knowledge of data warehouse concepts and tools such as BigQuery.
- Experience with GitHub, Gearset, Kubernetes, and other software development and deployment tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and learning abilities.
- Preferred Shopify Verified Skills and Badges.
- Preferred Salesforce Developer certifications such as Platform Developer I or II and Apex experience.
- Preferred experience with iPaaS middleware or cloud-based integration functions such as AWS Lambda or GCP Cloud Functions.
- Ability to leverage AI coding tools and familiarity with ERP, CRM, marketing automation, data analytics, and business intelligence systems are advantageous.
