Responsibilities
- Design and deploy integrated solutions for customer and third-party IP, LTE, and LMR networks.
- Oversee technical and software architecture from pre-sales and project award through system acceptance.
- Create high-level architecture, security architecture, design, and deployment documentation.
- Design data center IP networks and rack layouts and support low-level design activities.
- Support system staging, acceptance testing, product interaction, live system upgrades, and change-request evaluation.
- Prepare bills of materials and coordinate hardware and software ordering.
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, design workshops, query support, and pre-sales architecture, RFP evaluation, and response activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; BSEE or BSCE preferred.
- Knowledge of Unified Communications in radio communication systems or broadband/LTE and general 3GPP technologies.
- Working knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies, troubleshooting, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment.
- CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA, or similar certifications are preferred.
