Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and reliable frontend and backend features and services for the Hub platform.
- Translate product and design documents into clean, maintainable, well-tested production code.
- Own feature delivery end to end, including design, development, testing, deployment, observability, and monitoring.
- Design large-scale distributed systems, prototype solutions, evaluate design options, and provide estimates.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
- Write test automations, practice continuous integration and delivery, and conduct code reviews.
- Structure and complete tasks independently while communicating with stakeholders across domains.
- Lead engineering support, releases, and on-call responsibilities for an always-on 24/7 platform.
- Apply generative AI and emerging technologies to improve employee experience and automate repetitive platform tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of experience building large-scale distributed web platforms and APIs as a full-stack developer.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and GraphQL, plus familiarity with Angular, React, or Marko.
- Experience building data-driven applications using relational databases, NoSQL, or Elasticsearch.
- Proficiency in automated unit, functional, and integration testing, with familiarity with TDD, Agile, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
- Experience integrating features using LLMs or enterprise AI APIs such as Azure OpenAI or Glean.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or semantic search concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, learning, and knowledge-sharing skills.
