Responsibilities
- Lead integration of infotainment clusters, driver and center displays, infotainment systems, and telemetry modules in software-defined vehicle architectures.
- Lead integration and verification of Android, Linux, QNX, and other subsystem modules across multi-OS environments.
- Bridge core software development and vehicle hardware integration teams.
- Develop HIL, SIL, and full-vehicle test strategies and automate manual testing with Python and Robot Framework.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for immediate verification of code commits against platform standards.
- Perform root-cause analysis on software-hardware interactions, memory bottlenecks, cross-domain issues, and vehicle-network communication problems.
- Debug CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet communications and optimize cold-boot time, suspend-to-RAM current draw, CPU usage, and memory leaks.
- Architect dSPACE- or NI-based HIL test benches for automated regression and advance Python and Robot Framework scripts into CI/CD build verification.
- Manage requirements-to-validation test traceability, system-level regression planning, feature integration synchronization, power-mode management, and wake-up/sleep robustness.
- Support integration war rooms and vehicle development and validation builds while owning system-level release readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 12+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture, ECU-level software stacks, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, ISO 14229, and diagnostic communication tools.
- Expertise with Jira, GitHub or GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and ALM/PLM tools such as Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink plant and control models for hardware-in-the-loop environments, dSPACE ControlDesk, and AutomationDesk.
- Familiarity with embedded systems software, electrical/electronic systems and architecture, A2B, LVDS, CANalyzer, CANoe, and vehicle-network tools.
- Strong problem-solving, data-analysis, technical arbitration, system-thinking, requirements, automotive design, and engineering-process capabilities.
- Ability to lead program milestone ownership and operate in high-pressure vehicle launch environments.
