Responsibilities
- Own mobile engineering for P2P trading flows, payment methods, and end-to-end buy/sell transaction journeys
- Build and maintain cross-regional fiat payment integrations with local banks, e-wallets, and third-party PSPs
- Ensure mobile payment flows and user data handling meet local and international regulatory requirements
- Translate regional regulatory requirements into reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences with cross-functional teams
- Drive payment architecture decisions and communicate trade-offs among speed, maintainability, and compliance
- Use AI coding tools to build repeatable personal AI development workflows
- Mentor engineers and promote strong ownership and engineering standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience shipping production-quality mobile systems at scale
- Strong familiarity with P2P trading channels, payment methods, and consumer-facing buy/sell transaction flows
- Hands-on experience with cross-regional fiat payment integrations, including bank transfers, e-wallets, and third-party PSPs
- Working knowledge of KYC tiers, transaction limits, and regional regulatory constraints
- Ability to build and maintain personal AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Strong cross-functional communication with compliance, legal, product, and regional market teams
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and compliance
- Mobile development experience with iOS or Android is a plus
- Experience with PSPs or payment rails in Southeast Asia, LATAM, or MENA is a plus
- Background in fintech, crypto, or regulated consumer financial products is a plus
- Familiarity with anti-fraud mechanisms and multiple regulatory environments is a plus
- Current right to work in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship
