Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, tooling, and shared frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and developer experience.
- Analyze and optimize application code at the UI and infrastructure layers, including memory, package size, startup time, and rendering performance.
- Design and develop reusable, scalable mobile components for iOS and Android.
- Partner with product engineering teams on infrastructure solutions, best practices, and technical standards.
- Drive architecture innovations for large-scale mobile application development.
- Optimize project structures and engineering workflows to improve productivity, quality, and release velocity.
- Apply AI coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development, improve code quality, and translate solutions across mobile platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt relevant mobile platform and toolchain innovations.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of native iOS or Android development experience with infrastructure, platform, or architecture work.
- Deep expertise in iOS or Android, including Swift, Objective-C, and C++ or Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack, with confidence contributing across both platforms.
- Active use of AI engineering tools and experience building AI-leveraged workflows, knowledge bases, and repeatable agent skills.
- Production experience optimizing memory footprint, package size, startup time, and UI rendering performance at scale.
- Deep understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and the mobile SDK layer.
- Working knowledge of remote APIs, concurrency, layouts, transitions, animations, client-side persistence, and mobile architectural patterns.
- Strong communication and independent delivery skills across global teams.
- Preferred experience includes mobile architecture or infrastructure teams, performance optimization, toolchain engineering, automated testing frameworks, design pattern standardization, both iOS and Android, React Native or Flutter, and fintech, crypto, or high-scale consumer applications.
