Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application components and reusable software building blocks.
- Create documentation, write code meeting acceptance criteria, and help develop user stories.
- Build complete projects with limited involvement from other developers or architects.
- Debug, analyze, refactor, and optimize code for correctness, readability, and performance.
- Diagnose and reproduce production defects, coordinate proposed corrections with business units, and determine whether hotfixes are required.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, designers, system owners, product teams, scrum teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in software testing, code reviews, and production support.
- Learn new technologies and reinforce knowledge of current technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of professional Software Engineering experience required.
- Moderate proficiency in several listed technologies, including C#, JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, web services, .NET Core, Windows or Worker services, SQL, Pega, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, database design, file management, relational databases, reusable software development, and Agile concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences, conduct research, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong customer-service orientation and written, oral, listening, interpersonal, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
