Responsibilities
- Architect and build an agentic conversational layer with intent detection, dialogue orchestration, and multi-step reasoning aligned to advisor workflows.
- Design and maintain prompt architectures with context injection, tool-calling patterns, guardrails, and output validation.
- Build real-time advisor-assist systems that surface knowledge, suggest responses, and guide customer interactions.
- Map advisor business processes with operations and product teams and translate them into conversation-system designs.
- Define conversation-quality metrics, create evaluation datasets from interaction logs, and operate continuous improvement loops.
- Design confidence scoring, probabilistic fallbacks, and graceful handling for ambiguous or out-of-scope inputs.
- Deploy conversational AI consistently across chat, phone, and ecommerce surfaces.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in conversational AI, NLP engineering, or LLM-based product development.
- Experience building dialogue systems aligned with real business processes rather than only scripted flows.
- Proficiency in Python and NLP tooling.
- Strong understanding of intent classification, entity extraction, and context management in stateful conversations.
- Experience deploying conversational AI to production with real user traffic.
- Ability to design for uncertainty through confidence scoring, fallback handling, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Preferred: experience with agentic systems, tool use, function calling, or multi-step LLM orchestration.
- Preferred: familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for knowledge-grounded responses.
