Responsibilities
- Work with Product Owners, stakeholders, and Scrum teams to define, design, and implement software solutions.
- Develop maintainable and scalable code that is reviewed, unit tested, documented, and delivered to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported issues with Customer Support, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution.
- Analyze, design, implement, and validate security requirements using cybersecurity best practices.
- Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, define engineering standards, and collaborate across Development, DevOps, Security, Product, and R&D teams.
- Translate business and product requirements into technical designs, backlogs, estimates, dependencies, and delivery plans.
- Contribute to engineering process improvement, technical discovery, prototypes, architecture documentation, observability, monitoring, and production support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 1+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise with C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Angular, Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architecture, and SQL Server.
- Strong software design fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, reusable components, database design, and performance considerations.
- Experience with secure coding, authentication and authorization, automated testing, dependency risk, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to lead technically through mentoring, design and code reviews, engineering standards, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery planning.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, PowerShell, Azure CLI, observability, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance diagnostics, technical prototypes, architecture documentation, AI, and generative AI.
