Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable, maintainable, performant, and highly available systems.
- Own technical solutions and hands-on delivery from development through production.
- Guide a small team of developers in solution design and implementation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, pairing opportunities, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a point of escalation during and outside office hours and participate in on-call and incident response activities.
- Govern solution design and code quality, maintain technical documentation, and produce solution documents.
- Manage work estimation and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
- Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud; GCP experience is valued.
- Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, technical documentation, and code review capabilities.
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
