Responsibilities
- Develop Kotlin-based Spring and Ktor services for a distributed, containerized platform.
- Build highly scalable applications and own services end to end.
- Write high-quality code with automated testing.
- Influence technical solutions, engineering processes, and best practices.
- Design and implement internal and public APIs.
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD.
- Contribute to AI-assisted developer tooling, including triage automation and AI coding agents.
- Perform vulnerability remediation and authentication-flow hardening.
- Participate in business-hours operational duty.
Requirements
- Experience with Kotlin or Java, Spring, and Java frameworks and technologies.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and enterprise application design patterns.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Commitment to clean code, design, and agile or iterative development.
- Good written and spoken English proficiency.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and practices in daily engineering work.
- Preferred: advanced Kotlin or Kotlin Coroutines experience, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Python, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, kubectl, Helm, ingress, Prometheus, distributed tracing, agentic AI frameworks such as Koog or LangGraph, and an MS or similar degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
