Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define firm-wide standards for agent and MCP development.
- Build production reference agent applications for business teams.
- Design patterns for connecting agents to internal databases, APIs, and knowledge sources.
- Establish security and governance requirements for AI in a regulated trading environment.
- Partner with Security on AI-specific controls, including data access, audit, and threat detection.
- Evaluate and adopt infrastructure for agent deployment and observability.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience and strong Python skills.
- Production experience shipping LLM-powered agent systems rather than demos.
- Experience integrating agents with databases, APIs, and internal data sources.
- Production experience with MCP and/or tool calling.
- Security experience in regulated or sensitive-data environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
- Autonomy and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: prop trading, hedge fund, or financial services experience; firm-wide platform or standards work; multi-model environments such as Claude and GPT; and production agent evaluation and testing experience.
