Base Salary
$197k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test products in Benefits to improve user experience during renewals.
- Automate complex manual processes in health insurance to reduce errors and save time.
- Mentor other engineers to solve challenging technical problems.
- Help scale one of the largest Ruby/Rails and Javascript/React applications.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Data, Design, and Platform Engineering teams to address customer pain points.
- Prototype, iterate, and launch solutions daily.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience owning multi-quarter projects with measurable customer impact.
- Ability to drive large, cross-functional projects end-to-end through ambiguity.
- Experience with A/B testing or experimentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance development and testing.
- Ability to mentor engineers for performance maximization.
- Experience or interest in Ruby on Rails.
