Responsibilities

  • Design and build APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, workflows, and foundational platforms for AI agents, applications, automations, and developer experiences.
  • Establish production-grade reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence standards for AI implementations.
  • Coach and lead cross-functional teams implementing AI-augmented processes and workflows.
  • Create documentation, best practices, and enablement materials for technical and non-technical users.
  • Build measurement frameworks and feedback loops to track AI adoption, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, and other engineering teams on AI tooling deployments and maintenance.
  • Evaluate third-party vendors and partnership opportunities.
  • Work across global time zones and support multiple concurrent initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of engineering experience architecting and building scalable platforms, CLIs, SDKs, APIs, and developer tools.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building generative AI tooling, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration platforms.
  • Principal-level engineering judgment and the ability to balance innovation, pragmatism, and production requirements.
  • Deep data engineering and architecture knowledge, including RDBMS, Spark or Flink, Kafka, Lucene or Elasticsearch, and Data Mesh implementations.
  • Experience with Databricks, including observability, monitoring, security, and reliability engineering for workflows and persistent data.
  • Strong documentation, written and oral communication, cross-functional facilitation, technical coaching, and enablement skills.
  • Experience with full-stack engineering, Data Engineering, BI, or analysis is a plus.
  • Experience using JIRA or other agile work management tools is expected.
  • Passion for live music and events is a plus.
