Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy backend services for minting, custody, and settlement of tokenized equities on the Robinhood Chain.
- Develop product-facing features and platform capabilities that meet strict correctness, auditability, and scalability requirements.
- Connect traditional brokerage, ledger, and corporate-action infrastructure with on-chain systems through smart contract integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
- Improve system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Backend development expertise using Go, Python, or Java and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Strong knowledge of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience reasoning about correctness-critical systems, including idempotency, reconciliation, and failure modes.
- A track record of owning and delivering high-quality projects end to end in cross-functional environments.
- Interest in blockchain fundamentals such as EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement, or a strong willingness to learn them.
