Base Salary
$105k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software systems and features in Go and/or Python for large-scale video content delivery.
- Conduct peer reviews of code and configuration changes within maintained repositories and deployment pipelines.
- Author design documents and collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews.
- Work with SRE teams to ensure systems are reliable, resilient, scalable, and performant.
- Use observability systems and advanced analytics to identify issues, diagnose problems, and drive improvements.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with expertise in Go and/or Python.
- Experience deploying software to AWS or GCP using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with software repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
- Experience with SRE practices for scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse teams and nationalities.
- Knowledge of or production exposure to CDNs for streaming media is advantageous, though training may be provided.
- Experience with AI tooling for code creation, reviews, testing, and related software development workflows.
