Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment frameworks.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Design and support AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Implement and manage Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Develop monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, and performance-management solutions.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Integrate security controls into infrastructure and delivery automation and support DevSecOps practices.
- Lead complex infrastructure and automation initiatives across multiple teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, documentation, runbooks, and guidance to engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and selection of tools supporting application development and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, cloud automation, container platforms, and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
- Experience with platform engineering, self-service infrastructure, developer enablement, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Proficiency with system monitoring, metrics, logging, and alerting platforms.
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and system architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience in ITIL and IT project management across software development life cycles.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments and monitoring network, server, and application status.
- Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- At least 1 year of cruise or travel industry experience preferred.
- Preferred certifications include AWS or Azure certification, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, Project Management Professional, and ITIL.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
