Responsibilities
- Architect AWS landing zones and account-vending automation.
- Design modular cloud hosting frameworks and reusable Terraform infrastructure modules.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code governance, remote state management, and automated validation using Terraform and GitHub pipelines.
- Develop least-privilege IAM policies, roles, service control policies, permission boundaries, and access governance across AWS accounts.
- Design and manage AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT gateways, internet gateways, security groups, and network ACLs.
- Support AWS data, analytics, and AI platforms, including secure data access, automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Lead workload containerization, automated deployments, platform upgrades, and compliance automation.
- Benchmark cloud services, define availability and cost guardrails, and review infrastructure automation for scalability and security.
- Build internal tools that abstract hosting complexity and mentor engineers in automation and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Represent hosting automation strategy across product teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing AWS platforms and infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Terraform, GitHub, and Amazon Web Services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, reusable module development, remote state management, and automated validation.
- Experience defining IAM policies, roles, service control policies, permission boundaries, and access governance aligned with security best practices.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting AWS infrastructure for networking, connectivity, compute, storage, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience supporting AWS data and AI platform services, including S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Redshift, EMR, SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Ability to perform the stated sedentary office duties, operate computer equipment, communicate verbally, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
