Responsibilities
- Own impactful infrastructure problems from inception and architecture through production launch.
- Write design documents and robust, high-quality, well-tested code.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize impactful roadmap projects.
- Build scalable distributed systems, storage, application frameworks, data models, security capabilities, monitoring, and deployment tooling.
- Mentor junior engineers and learn from experienced engineers.
Requirements
- BA/BS in computer science or a related degree.
- At least 3 years of experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, C++, or similar languages, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and well-tested components.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices in GCP, AWS, or Azure is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused, cross-functional environment and take ownership of tasks and features.
