Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve the customer portal for heat-pump customers.
- Build and operate independent backend services and APIs.
- Integrate external systems using robust webhooks, retry logic, authentication, and failure handling.
- Develop Salesforce integrations and support the technical implementation of business processes.
- Contribute to observability, CI/CD processes, and the engineering platform.
- Work across backend, integrations, Salesforce, and smaller frontend features from development through production operation.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience developing productive backend systems.
- Strong Python backend expertise, with experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience developing and operating APIs, including scalable interfaces, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and integrations.
- Experience connecting external systems, including webhooks and retry mechanisms.
- Ability to develop React or Next.js interfaces against personal APIs.
- Experience working across existing codebases and taking ownership of ambiguous or new topics.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce, SOQL, Apex, Metadata, PostgreSQL, SQL, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, observability, LLM or MCP tooling, and product or customer-journey understanding.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Copilot and taking responsibility for generated code.
