Base Salary
$170k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Convex's platforms, dashboard UI, integrations, billing systems, and other services.
- Work directly with customers and company leadership to shape feature plans.
- Understand customer and business priorities and make product tradeoffs.
- Help establish engineering practices and reliability guidelines as the team and systems scale.
- Write product and platform code across the stack.
Requirements
- Strong UX sensibilities and enthusiasm for building intuitive interfaces.
- Ability to understand customer needs, business requirements, and competing priorities.
- Experience or enthusiasm for scaling in a high-growth startup environment.
- Appreciation for clean architectures and ability to write high-quality code.
- Ability and enthusiasm to work deeply across different layers of Convex's systems.
- Experience with user-facing live-site services and OLTP databases is valued.
- Constructive, positive, thoughtful, pragmatic, and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to participate in occasional on-call support.
