Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure and tooling for HRT’s distributed-compute framework and large-scale compute cluster.
- Build backend processes that ingest and transform large quantities of data.
- Create UIs for internal users to oversee trading processes, execute manual trades, assess risk, and research strategy improvements.
- Architect web-based tooling with React and Python for real-time insights and actions using financial, operational, and trading data.
- Work with Algo Developers, traders, and senior technical and non-technical users.
- Own projects end-to-end, including requirements refinement, planning, execution, ongoing support, and iteration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python and React.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage time, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to understand technical systems, identify improvements, and explain complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity and willingness to improve the surrounding engineering ecosystem.
