Base Salary

$250 - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Run technical pre-sales activities with account executives, including discovery, architecture, demos, whiteboard sessions, executive briefings, and security reviews.
  • Build integrations with identity providers, ITSM and ticketing systems, MDM, HRIS, cloud environments, and SaaS applications.
  • Translate customer environments and goals into scoped value-based use cases and pilot success criteria.
  • Advise enterprise buyers on security, access controls, approval workflows, least privilege, just-in-time access, audit logging, and compliance.
  • Execute technically complete handoffs to Deployment at pilot kickoff.
  • Create foundational solutions engineering assets including demo environments, reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, technical FAQs, and competitive positioning.
  • Relay customer objections and product gaps to product and engineering teams and help drive solutions.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a comparable technical pre-sales role at a high-growth B2B software or infrastructure company.
  • Demonstrated success selling technical products to senior IT and security buyers, including CIOs, Heads of IT, and security leaders.
  • Ability to lead architecture reviews, debug integrations live, and answer detailed security questions.
  • Working fluency with identity providers, SCIM, ITSM and ticketing, SaaS administration, APIs, and organizational access provisioning and revocation.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Builder mindset, high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and motivation to create scalable team systems.
  • Experience with ITSM, IGA, access management, security, or AI automation products is preferred.
