Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, repeatable solutions for customer integrations, telemetry ingestion, data optimization, and license efficiency.
- Lead complex migrations from legacy observability platforms and design optimized Chronosphere target states.
- Partner with customers and Product to evaluate friction points, feature requests, bugs, and architectural alternatives.
- Align observability architectures and technical milestones with customer business objectives.
- Build custom automation and improve migration, reporting, and other internal or customer-facing tooling.
- Develop reference architectures and design documentation while mentoring Implementation Engineers and conducting design reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technical consulting or architecture roles with deep expertise in core engineering technologies.
- Deep experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Docker, and observability standards such as PromQL; OpenTelemetry experience is a strong plus.
- Experience advising enterprise clients on architectural design, platform onboarding, and optimization strategies, including alignment with senior leadership.
- Hands-on proficiency in object-oriented programming or scripting such as Python, Go, or Java, with experience building custom tooling or automation.
- Strong analytical and product judgment for translating customer workflows into product insights or architectural changes.
- Foundational experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform and version control with Git.
- Ability to understand diverse data platforms and identify process bottlenecks.
