Base Salary
$136k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver installation, migration, training, and advisory services for GitLab customers while completing projects on scope and schedule.
- Plan and execute GitLab deployments across single-node Omnibus installations and larger reference architectures.
- Lead migrations from source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab with minimal disruption.
- Provide technical guidance on the GitLab feature stack and customer operating environments.
- Manage multiple customer projects while tracking delivery priorities, utilization, and billable time.
- Mentor other Professional Services Engineers and contribute to repeatable delivery practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engagement managers, product teams, and engineering teams to improve delivery and resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- Professional experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
- Active Secrets or TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Ability to support public sector customers with clearance-related environment and engagement requirements.
- Ability to lead technical delivery end to end, including discovery, planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Occasional travel to SCIF sites may be required.
- Desirable locations include the DC Metro area, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Colorado, or Utah.
