Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements, data flows, business logic, system architecture, database interactions, and cloud integrations.
- Contribute to test strategies, test plans, effort estimation, risk identification, and comprehensive test scenario definition.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases for data integrity, transformation logic, reporting accuracy, application logic, and cloud components.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, data-driven, API, performance, stress, and security testing.
- Create and manage test data, including large datasets for performance and stress testing in cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Identify, troubleshoot, document, and retest defects using JIRA, including detailed reproduction steps.
- Coordinate testing with internal teams, third-party vendors, business users, and user acceptance testing stakeholders.
- Promote testing standards and best practices, organize monthly stakeholder demo sessions, and improve development and testing processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software testing experience focused on complex data-centric projects and backend systems.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Oracle databases, including data integrity and quality validation, database object testing, source-to-target validation, and advanced SQL.
- Experience or strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Ability to test applications and data pipelines deployed on Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid Java programming skills for developing scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, and JUnit or TestNG using Java.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle processes.
- Knowledge of black-box, white-box, system, integration, regression, performance, and security testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with HP ALM and JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
