Base Salary
$158k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead feature and platform delivery across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support for backend services, APIs, and telemetry pipelines.
- Design and implement shared services, APIs, and telemetry libraries using C# or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Architect and evolve highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud-native microservices and ingestion systems.
- Define telemetry standards covering metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, and runbooks.
- Own CLM-IAM ingestion and synchronization flows, including document ingestion, attribute mapping, historical backfill, and event pipelines.
- Participate in high-severity incident response, root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and reliability and performance improvements.
- Partner with product management, architecture, SRE, CLM, IAM, and data and analytics teams on cross-team initiatives.
- Drive code reviews, engineering standards, platformization patterns, and adoption of shared platform components.
- Mentor and coach P3 and early-career engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production services or applications with object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js.
- 4+ years designing, building, and operating cloud-native microservices or APIs at scale.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL data stores, data modeling, production services, telemetry, and ingestion scenarios.
- Experience owning platform features end-to-end, including design documents, implementation, test plans, rollout strategies, and operational support.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and production troubleshooting using logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards.
- Experience working cross-functionally and across teams to drive alignment.
- Experience participating in on-call rotations and incident remediation.
- Preferred experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Azure services, or equivalent AWS/GCP technologies.
- Preferred experience building observability and telemetry stacks and working with big data or stream processing for ingestion and telemetry.
- Preferred experience delivering shared platform components adopted by multiple teams.
- Preferred experience leading or participating in high-severity incident RCAs and on-call activities.
- Preferred experience working in an agile environment with frequent, high-quality releases.
