Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between Domain Architects and DevOps teams.
- Translate business context, enterprise architecture, technology standards, and organizational needs into effective solution designs.
- Document as-is and to-be processes and designs, including roadmaps and migration plans.
- Organize and support architecture workshops, presentations, and design decision meetings for DevOps teams.
- Design and develop proof-of-concepts to validate assumptions and de-risk complex technical decisions.
- Guide engineering teams on implementation approaches and ensure alignment with architectural principles and release objectives.
- Apply and define microservices, event-driven, request/reply, and resilience architecture patterns.
- Identify and escalate non-compliance with organizational policies, procedures, architecture guidelines, or regulatory requirements.
- Model business concepts including teams, roles, permissions, clients, documents, deals, cases, and other business assets.
- Produce and present solution architecture and related architectural artifacts.
- Guide and mentor project teams and collaborate with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as an engineer or architect.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments such as financial institutions.
- Understanding of risk management.
- Proven Java experience.
- Expertise in modern API development technologies, including REST, gRPC, and API gateways.
- Knowledge of at least one SQL or NoSQL database, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with microservices and reactive systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience building in-house front ends.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration for deploying containerized applications.
- Ability to create application architectures, data models, and other relevant documentation.
- Strong analytical, ownership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-partnership skills.
- Proven ability to guide and mentor project teams and present solution architecture.
- Archimate or another architecture modelling language is a plus.
