Responsibilities
- Develop Java solutions from user stories derived from larger features.
- Perform coding, unit testing, and assistance with UAT testing.
- Own user stories end to end, including analysis, release, and support.
- Demonstrate delivered functionality to user groups and teams.
- Coordinate activities across groups to deliver user stories.
- Ensure delivery complies with ING IT Risk requirements and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with teams in Bucharest, Amsterdam, Mumbai, and Manila.
- Participate in Scrum stand-ups, retrospectives, refinements, and reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Working knowledge of Kafka and Java frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, with Azure DevOps used by the team.
- Some experience with XML, XSL, and XSD.
- Experience with TDD and BDD.
- Strong analysis and communication skills, with openness to feedback.
- Experience with Scrum and a strong preference for agile ways of working.
- Experience with relational database development, especially Oracle, is preferred.
- Experience with OTEL solutions and containerization platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Project experience in financial-market group treasury is preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field is nice to have.
