Responsibilities
- Articulate Neo4j’s business and technical value to customers and prospects as a technical advisor.
- Drive technology evaluation stages, including opportunity qualification, technical discovery, presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, sizing, and technical documentation.
- Develop subject matter expertise and demonstrate Neo4j through solution architecture, workshops, conferences, and use-case presentations.
- Co-create reference and solution architectures integrating Neo4j with customer applications and existing environments.
- Build customer relationships, advise stakeholders, and support adoption of Neo4j.
- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, accelerate sales cycles, and meet regional revenue goals.
- Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Participate in account-based marketing events, conferences, and trade shows, and travel as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of customer-facing experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar capacity.
- Experience with enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
- Working knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, or JanusGraph is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases and proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, and agentic AI.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, whiteboarding, and demonstrations.
- Knowledge of financial services or insurance and the ability to connect graph databases to sector technology strategies.
- Ability to learn new technologies, develop data-modeling approaches, prioritize work, adapt, and solve problems.
