Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Make architecture and technology decisions that enable products to ship from a blank page in ninety days.
- Build complete products across frontend, backend, data, and deployment.
- Integrate BitGo custody, wallet, stablecoin, and settlement rails along with third-party vendors where appropriate.
- Use AI tools as a force multiplier while applying judgment about when not to trust them.
- Ship products to real users, instrument them, and continue iterating after launch.
- Hand off, wind down, or expand products based on their performance and lessons learned.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of genuinely full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience building a product from nothing, such as a startup, side project, or true zero-to-one team.
- Modern web frontend, API and service design, data modeling, and cloud deployment experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools as a significant daily productivity multiplier and understand their limitations.
- Comfort with cryptocurrency or the ability and willingness to learn wallets, stablecoins, and settlement quickly.
- Ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs, prioritize shipping, and maintain strong security and money-handling practices.
- Ability to discard or replace code and move on when products are shut down.
