Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for AI and model inference on real-time data.
- Own features end to end, from drafting design to driving decisions.
- Make technical calls on systems spanning teams, including model lifecycle and inference routing.
- Ensure quality of shipped code, including test coverage and documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and provide design feedback to improve team performance.
- Participate in on-call duties for the services owned by the team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating distributed systems or cloud-native backend infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed-systems patterns.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python, with willingness to work across all three.
- Experience leading cross-team technical work and turning ambiguous requirements into actionable designs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
